Giving Back Through Food

Food brings people together, it helps build community. Food is what is remembered, food can bring us back to some of the best times. I love it when I walk in a room and all of a sudden the smells, the spices in the air, takes me back to a certain memory. A time of family gatherings, laughter, and community. 

If there's one thing we've all learned in this season it's how important community is to our well-being.

Casa de Luz is a big part of why we do what we do at Heterei Latin Foods. Our business has always been about giving back.

Most of the families we serve don't have the community or support they need to thrive. But Casa de Luz steps into this gap with the goal of creating friendships, people our moms can call when they're in need or lonely.
