One of the most decadent treats I know is dulce de leche. Doesn't that sound nice? It sounds even nicer when you know that it is created by caramelizing sugar into milk. It can be easily added to deserts and liqueurs.
Below is a short and sweet (no pun intended!) recipe with instructions on how to combine dulce de leche with alcohol, transforming it into a one of a kind drink.
- 300 gms – 10.5 oz. Dulce de Leche
- 300 ml – 1 ¼ cup milk
- 250 ml – 1 cup cream
- 85 ml – 1/3 cup Vodka
Put the milk, cream and dulce de leche in a pot. Cook on a slow flame until the dulce de leche has melted. Chill thoroughly.
Add the alcohol to the dulce de leche mix, filter and bottle it.
